Couples Holistic Therapy
For the two of you who keep hitting the same wall. We break the pattern running underneath the arguments, so you get back to actually enjoying each other.
Break the pattern, not each other
Most couples do not have a communication problem so much as a pattern problem. The same argument, in different clothes, on repeat. Underneath it, each of you is carrying old charge, triggers and stories that fire the moment the other person does something familiar.
I work with both of you to clear what is actually driving the loop, rather than refereeing the surface of it. When the charge underneath eases, the trigger stops firing, and you stop bracing for the next round.
We look at the patterns each of you brought in, often the ones that predate the relationship, and clear them at the root. You do not have to relive every argument for this to work.
What changes is the day to day. You hear each other, you soften faster, and you get back to the version of the two of you that actually likes being together.
Sessions run in person at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, or online, together.
Couples work, answered
Do both of us need to come?
Ideally yes, this is work for the two of you together, and it lands deepest with both of you in the room. If your partner is not ready, individual work can still shift the dynamic, and often does.
Is this the same as marriage counselling?
It is different. Counselling often has you talk through the issues at the surface. This clears the charge and the old patterns each of you carries underneath, so the same argument stops repeating rather than being re-hashed.
We keep having the same fight. Can that really change?
That repeat is the clue. The same fight in different clothes means there is a pattern underneath driving it. We clear that pattern at the root, and the loop loses its power.
Can we do it online?
Yes. Sessions run in person at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, or online together over video.
You have managed to put that big smile back on my face that has been missing for at least twelve years. I am loving it.
